Precautions while taking Ferrous Ascorbate, Folic Acid, Zinc Tablet

  • Allergy Alert: Do not use if you’re allergic to any of the ingredients.
  • Iron Warning:
    • Taking iron by mouth may turn your stools dark green or black—this is normal and harmless.
    • Keep out of reach of children—too much iron can be dangerous or even life-threatening for them.
    • In case of accidental overdose, contact a doctor or poison control center immediately.
  • Stomach Conditions: Use with caution if you have active stomach or intestinal problems.
  • Zinc Caution: People with kidney issues may build up zinc in the body, which can be harmful.

Dosages administration of Ferrous Ascorbate, Folic Acid, Zinc Tablet

One tablet once a day or as directed by a physician or dietician. Ferrous Ascorbate, Folic Acid, and Zinc Tablets should be administered whole by oral route, preferably between meals. However, in case of gastric upset, Hbconex-XT should be taken after meals (lunch or dinner).
