Sodium Ascorbate And Zinc Syrup are micronutrients that play important roles in the function of human immune system. They contribute to a person’s resistance as well as decreasing risk, severity, and duration to infectious diseases.
4-12 years: 2.5 ml (1/2 teaspoonful) once daily
Over 12 Years: 5 ml (1 teaspoonful) once daily
Children more than 12: 5 ml (1 teaspoonful) once daily

Adverse reactions are rare. Nausea and vomiting, abdominal cramps/pain, or heartburn may occur may occur. If GI upset occurs, product can be taken with food, but foods high in calcium, phosphorus and phytates must be avoided. Allergic reactions like skin rash, itching or hives may occurs.
Patients receiving other single vitamins or multivitamin preparations, any other medication or those under medical care should consult a health care professional before taking this product.
Accumulation of zinc may occur in cases of renal failure patients. Hence caution should be exercised in patients with renal impairment with careful patient monitoring.
Very high doses of ascorbic acid can interfere with tests for sugar in the urine.
