When taken as per recommended dose it is well tolerated. It may cause abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, gout, allergies, worsening of asthma, and low blood pressure, metallic taste.

Patients receiving other single vitamins or multivitamin preparations, any other medication or those under medical care should consult a health care professional before taking this product.
Large doses of zinc can lower blood sugar in people with diabetes. People with diabetes should use zinc products cautiously.
Caution should be exercised in person with known hypersensitivity to any active substances or to any of the excipients
