When mild, hepatotoxicity is usually reversible on withdrawal of the drug, Ejaculatory failure, erectile dysfunction, Drug fever.
There have been reports of skin rashes and/or dry eyes associated with the use of beta-adrenoceptor blocking drugs.

Airway obstructions may worsen in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disorders. Avoid using non-selective beta-blockers, like Labetalol, for these patients unless no alternative treatment is available.
Administer labetalol with caution to patients with first-degree heart block because it negatively affects conduction time.
Beta adrenoceptor blocking drugs may increase the number and duration of anginal attacks in patients with Prinzmetal’s angina, due to unopposed alpha-receptor mediated coronary artery vasoconstriction. Do not use non-selective beta-blockers, such as Labetalol, for these patients.
Administer beta adrenoceptor blockers to patients with a history of psoriasis only after careful consideration.
There have been reports of increased sensitivity towards allergens and the seriousness of anaphylactic reactions with the use of beta adrenoceptor blocking drugs.
Labetalol modifies the tachycardia of hypoglycaemia and it may prolong the hypoglycaemic response to insulin.
Exercise caution when prescribing a beta-adrenoceptor blocking drug with class 1 antidysrhythmic agents like disopyramide due to negative inotropic effects.
Exercise caution during the parenteral administration of preparations containing adrenaline to patients receiving beta-adrenoceptor blocking drugs, as rare instances of vasoconstriction, hypertension, and bradycardia may occur.
Take great care with patients who have peripheral circulatory disorders, such as Raynaud’s disease or syndrome, or intermittent claudication.
Administer labetalol to patients with phaeochromocytoma only after achieving adequate alpha-blockade.
