Precautions while taking Iron, Zinc, Folic acid, DHA & Vitamin B12 Tablet
- Use cautiously in gastrointestinal pathologies → Patients with acute gastric or intestinal conditions should take these tablets under medical supervision.
- Dark stools effect → Stools may commonly become dark green or black due to unabsorbed iron; this is harmless and expected.
- Risk of overdose in children → Iron can be toxic if taken in large doses by children. In case of accidental overdose, contact a doctor or poison control center immediately.
- Zinc accumulation in renal failure → Patients with kidney impairment should use cautiously to avoid zinc buildup.
- Hypersensitivity risk → Avoid use in individuals with known allergies to any of the ingredients.
Dosages administration of Iron, Zinc, Folic acid, DHA & Vitamin B12 Tablet
One tablet once or twice a day or as directed by a physician or dietician.
Tablet should be administered whole by oral route, preferably between meals. However, in case of gastric upset, ECO-FolicXT should be taken after meals (lunch or dinner).
